Spider Verse only opened this weekend.

Ralphs been out for weeks and was beaten by Grinch last weekend. It’s Grinch.

Not that I disagree with your point, but Ralph 2 was still #1 last weekend with Grinch close behind.

The audience score is 91% on Book My Show. That qualifies as "excellent", imo.

BMS ratings cannot be taken as gospel. ITSV is 89% right now with 4500 votes. Wheres Aquaman which also released this weekend is 85% with 27000 votes.

Moreover there if far more social media chatter for Aquaman, almost all positive, compared to ITSV which is almost negligible.

That's not what WoM is. Of course aquaman will be much more visible on social media, it's much bigger film, and animation doesn't do that hot in India. That's like comparing a salman khan film to rajkumar rao film.

Venom could finish with the lowest Dom among 2018 comic book adaptations as ITSV could well go ahead. Needs 5.75-6x ow using 36-37 ow.

You said CBM's, though, and Teen Titans Go is definitely a CBM (sure, it's based on a TV show, but the show is based on a comic book), it's not like Incredibles 2 or Ralph Breaks The Internet which are originals :P

In that case Aquaman also has excellent WOM coz its only 4% less but with a much larger sample space.

More than 1 movie can have similar reception. But for that reception to work, that film must open to a reasonable amount which may or may not be the case for spiderverse. Aquaman will definitely enjoy that good WoM.

I think it will struggle to make $100m.

2.7-2.8x multi in Dec for a movie with this reception? Or are you only considering grosses till Dec 31 cause I meant lifetime total seeping into 2019.
