We're gonna go to Universal after the movie. Considering I'm moving in two weeks, might as well get one last visit in with him and make a whole day out of it when theme park crowds aren't batshit insane like this upcoming weekend. And yes, Hailee is calling (but can I drag my ass to the theater???).

Just saw Aquaman. Yeah, this is the movie to see this month, especially after FB2 WoM was poor and it's been 2 months since Venom. Totally cheesy in some parts but not the kind of cheesy people will hate. I expect WoM to spread fast indeed, what with MPR disappointing. Friday jump might be big.

Wow, Aquaman was a blast.  Visually so impressive.  The colors were something I hadn't seen since Avatar.  Sure some jokes didn't really work, but the film didn't stop .... just kept pushing forward.   Loved that it incorporated more of an adventure style.  While Arthur is King ... Mera is the best. 

 

Oh and this Dolph Lundgren renaissance is great.

 

In terms of MPR ... never really got the crazy hype on why it was going to be so huge.  Granted that 4.8 was just the first day, but it's need to pick up quite a bit going forward.

Well Aquaman is spectacular, kinda feels like a theme park rides, you wanna jump back in once it’s over.

I won’t talk too much about the visuals because at this point we all know they’re great(VFX Action setpiece, Cinematography, camera work lighting all A+)  was pleasantly surprised at the performances accross the board. Many people said the script is weak but except  a clunky first act it was fine to me definitely on par with the average superhero movie Also the third act is phenomenal. It’s a good ol’ THIRD ACT like they don’t make em’ anymore. Most of Jason Momoa broish ways are seen in the trailers and he tones it down more and more as the movie go. By the end of movie he was indeed my AQUAMAN.

Mary Poppins Returns is a very happy movie.  I really enjoyed it.
