Ethan Hunt
according to a poster here (that really knows his shit), it isn't. Sadly . What poster would that be?

AniNate
according to a poster here (who really knows his shit), it isn't. Sadly . You shouldn't say stuff like that unless you're willing to reveal the source. If not, just let us have our hope.
BK007
according to a poster here (who really knows his shit), it isn't. Sadly . lol. who would that be? I agree, if you're not going to reveal your source then don't say anything at all. Otherwise its trollish. And yes, even though I have lost a lot of faith in Pixar, just like my favourite sports team, I go out to see their movies anyway hoping for the greatness I've seen in them. So, reveal or, keep a lid on it.

Fullbuster
New modified logo http://www.pixarpost.com/2014/12/the-good-dinosaur-gets-updated-logo.html Why did they underline "The"?
miketheavenger
Why did they underline "The"? Maybe because the story is about a certain/special dinosaur and not just a random one.
Spidey Freak
A road trip with a human child and a dinosaur. Kinda reminds me of Ice Age but yeah tgis could be really good. I don't get why more people aren't seeing the glaring similarities to IA myself. Color me unimpressed.

AniNate
I don't get why more people aren't seeing the glaring similarities to IA myself. Color me unimpressed. Ice Age was essentially "Three Prehistoric Animals and a Baby". Here the relationship seems it's going to be more like a teenager and his younger brother. And speculating off the title and premise, I imagine part of the subtext of the film will be humanity's relationship with animals. How the rest of the "dominant" dinosaur species in the film treat the human race may be similar to how we treat "lesser" animals in real life. kayumanggi
This is opening with THE MARTIAN. I know the target demo is different but what exactly is it about? BOM says it's a 'drama.' Isn't it a sci-fi film? BOM lists INTERSTELLAR as 'sci-fi adventure' and that one had a lot of drama.
AniNate
It's a sci-fi drama. BOM isn't always completely on the nose categorizing films. Personally, until Ridley Scott shows he's capable of making a single competent film again, I'm writing off everything he does.

That's good for TGD. lol
kayumanggi
Oh wait. The sci-fi film is MIDNIGHT SPECIAL, from the director of MUD. Hmm.
AniNate
I suspect Midnight Special's going to be changed to a limited release. It'll probably be going for Oscars so Warner will want it to shift the marketing push away from the bigger films.
