MovieMan89
If the movie is dialouge light and with a tone aimed at potentially more of an older audience, then they are actually being smart to advertise it the way they are. Gotta get the kid's attention some way.
Mojoguy
This flop was released on Thanksgiving weekend during the same year as the first Jurassic Park, will history repeat itself?

kowhite
If we're taking B tier animated movies from the early 90s, Ducktales The Movie is my jam. Never saw that one.

Fullbuster
This flop was released on Thanksgiving weekend during the same year as the first Jurassic Park, will history repeat itself? Aren't you tired of trashing animated movies that aren't Frozen? It's ridiculous...The Good Dinosaur won't flop, it just can't, there is no way. AniNate
Compared to Frozen that's a lowball.
Blankments
Don't see what's so unreasonable about my pick. Inside Out made 90M over 3 days, Frozen made 94M over 5 days. Thus, a 92M five-day seems reasonable, and even with the increased competition than Frozen had, dinosaurs are dinosaurs. As long as it's Inside Out or pre-Cars 2 Pixar level in quality, WOM will be great.
AniNate
Believe me, I'd be ecstatic if this were that big (assuming this is as good as I expect it to be). I just have lingering doubts both about whether Inside Out was an anomaly and if audiences will respond well to the more intimate, less dialogue driven approach
WrathOfHan
I'm predicting a 90M five day but I don't think legs will be as good as IO or Frozen.
RichWS
It's the first Pixar during Thanksgiving in 10 years. With dinosaurs? Why wouldn't it make a shit-ton?
Ezen Baklattan
This flop was released on Thanksgiving weekend during the same year as the first Jurassic Park, will history repeat itself? That movie was absolutely insane as far as animated films go. Dat Crow Kill

If you said that back in May I would completely agree, but per word of God this will be pretty slow paced at times. Just wondering whether all the families looking for a light hearted romp will respond well to watching a kid and dino silently bond for 10-15 minutes at a time with brief spurts of action and dialogue in between

They could think it's a good thing for their kids, like some families thought Frozen was good for their little girls.
