Box office slump found dead in a ditch.

MCU has no time for this silly franchise fatigue nonsense.

Disney LAUGHS at the other studios.

I know it's wrong to say but I think MCU is too big fail as of now. They can maintain this consistency if they keep the storytelling formula simple but quite effective for general audience.

One thing to say is, FFH is not over performing. It just performing normally with a healthy sequel jump for MCU.

But where is Endgame bumb? I know people like Spidey a lot but 450m was  easy target considering huge popularity.

Yes, this is not underperformance but it is no over performance also.

One week earlier many on Internet expected 200M as easy target. What happened?

the internet is not the best place to be, far from homes case was something rare, the range was as low as 160 to as big as 250, the most realistic range was 170-210 and  it will come exactly in this range

It was also released only 2 months after Endgame which could make it feel like a bit of a non event comparatively. And it's still doing very well

Oh I agree with you . FFH is not overperforming , atleast domestically. Though overseas it's a subjective question depending on how much it makes.

The thing is ,  normally studios present their expectations similar to the first film even if they know it's gonna make higher. The problem here is Sony expected 125m 6-day performance which is way lower than Homecoming. Now I am confused that despite Tom Holland's Spidey being more popular , why did they predict that number ?

Even if we say they are being conservative, it was just too low ? So did they really thought that FFH isn't gonna make more than Homecoming, or they based their projections on something else( like dates ,  marketing spread etc) ?

In this case were we wrong in expecting 200 M for FFH , or are we used to having MCU overperform at box office
