aliadiere29
My local cinema was packed last night. I had to stand in a line for like 15 minutes. Expecting a massive number for UK.
Heretic
TDKR had an OD around £5.5m, which would be a good target for BvS.

Olive
How about Zootopia? Did it get slaughtered?
Heretic
Massive OD! Today should be similar, between £6-6.5m, and £4m tomorrow. Easter Sunday will likely mean a bigger drop. So around £16m 3 day, easily the highest for a superhero film, and 7th biggest opening ever, behind SW7, DH2, Spectre, Skyfall, DH1 and JW. Could top JW's £16.8m, but I doubt it. With bank holiday included, it should top £18m, and possibly £19m. Jurassic World made £19.3m 4 day, and AoU £18m. Heretic
Will have to wait for Rth. Looks like it's doing well though.
Aristis
With today's exchange rate that would mean at least $23M 3-day and $26M 4-day?
Heretic
Yeah, around that.
Lordmandeep
Will it have Good legs though?
Heretic
Well, it has 2 weeks of Easter holidays now. So it'll do very well over the next couple of weeks. And then it'll probably drop of fast with the arrival of The Jungle Book. Should have already made most of its money by then though. Doubt it'll have as good legs as AoU, can see it ending in the £40-45m range.
Heretic
Zootropolis is looking packed this afternoon. That's a film that will take full advantage of the holidays.

Napoleon
The UK, a typically powerhouse superhero territory, grossed $9M on 1,700 screens. That’s the best opening day of the year with 77% of the Top 5 films. http://deadline.com/2016/03/batman-v-superman-dawn-of-justice-opening-box-office-results-international-1201725677/

Can it hit 7m on Sat? I think JW's 16.8m is manageable. Edited March 26, 2016 by James
Quigley
WB reports that BvS had an opening day six-fold bigger than Zootropolis (Zootopia's title in the UK), which means the latter made £1-1.15M on Friday. Is that number good/bad? Edited March 26, 2016 by Quigley

And for Zootropolis, that is a solid number. Will probably be close to £4m 3 day, but it'll be making a lot of money (Probably £1m+) every day for the next 2 weeks.

All schools were closed and most people were off work, so today will likely stay more or less flat, maybe even drop slightly due to midnight shows on Thursday.
