a2k
Hope JK goes up towards 4 else 45%+ weekend drop likely. Rare when both 3rd and 4th weekend drops are bigger than 2nd weekend drop for a CBM.

Firepower
Maybe it'll have better Friday increase this time considering no new competition and pretty much dead weekend? Also, 3.8 sounds better, thanks for update Charlie.

TheUndertaker
+77.78% bump for Maleficent 2? Is that normal for a kids movie in October?

It's normal for a movie folks might not want to pay full price for, but still want to see:). It's the last day of OW...aka, opening weekend for the non-subscribing movie base:)... Kids movies also almost always do better on the Mon-Tues bump than any other movie - same reason...parents have limited funds, so they go when it's most affordable, even if it's a school night (or they go at least way more compared to Monday:)...

It was profitable just from domestic despite make more than double that overseas. Joker gonna make sooooooooooo much money. Net more than CM maybe? Opening day for many families right and it's a family movie. Probably has a big drop today. 51% or something like that.

narniadis
Very solid Tuesday from the looks of it. MAL2 definitely showing the lack of rush with such a huge Tuesday. As TwoMisfits points out, the lower cost always draws the family and "not full price" crowd. Jokers increase is a tad smaller than I had hoped (was thinking week 3 would het between 45-50%) but again, the film has blown through a bunch of potential audience already.
