Could this miss the top 5 WW of 2024? IO2 made $1.7B, DPW $1.35B, DM4 will be around $975M, Moana 2 probably like $1.2B+, and holiday legs will save Mufasa

First movie has a great wom and a powerful rewatch factor that drove its sales. This being a musical will absolutely affect its appeal to the younger audiences that flocked theatres the first time around.

It's so funny how Reddit and r/boxoffice has completely turned on this movie after locking it in as a $1B+ hit ever since the first trailer.

I mean people tampering expectations because of bad reviews is completely fair, but I do feel like it goes sometimes a bit to extreme. But people are entitled to their opinion and who know maybe I look like a fool come end of October. Hardly the first time, but really can´t see it at all.
