Here's how I would rank it with the rest of the series, which might not look great on first glance but this is a damn good series on the whole. I can't quite believe they pulled it off yet again.

seems like this is about as good as the other modern films, even if less sophisticated. That's good enough for me. Beautiful visuals, emotion and character work is what I'm generally looking for in those kind of movies

At this point if the reviews are not good to great overall then the social media reaction thing needs to be retired and means nothing. And I don't really care what people in other countries say. Maybe it's just not their thing or it means nothing.

Just watched it. Great movie. Best after the original from 69 imo which still is by far the best. Would love a sequel. 8/10
