Yeah...I would like to see him do a MCU film. That would have been better, but I think he has to deliver here to get to do bigger and better things.

This sounds terrible. I know I'm a defender of that new Apes trilogy, but this really sounds bad considering it's either going to be another reboot or a sequel to a finished trilogy, either way by a much weaker director.

Why? It still holds up.

And the 1968 film is still the best of the Planet Of The Apes movies.

And still has one of the best final scenes in film history...

I'd rather watch the whole Maze Runner trilogy again than sit through War again. The last film in the trilogy is as bad as War but at least I had a little bit of fun watching it and Wes Ball's action sequences were pretty good.
