A 400% increase does seem hard regardless though. There's only one comparable year when Valentine's Day was on a Friday (2014) and in the top 10 only The Lego Movie and Ride Along managed a 400% increase. The former was a kids film and the latter was well into its run.

Kids films can jump 400% on Friday. Rates R, narrow spectrum films. Unlikely imo. 

 

Target imo is anything above 16.5

Canada is lowest on Friday. Saturday bumps are normal, Sunday hold much better and weekdays hold better.
