Paramount Pictures has set up and coming directors Adam & Aaron Nee to direct Lost City Of D, aRomancing The Stone-style romantic comedy/action film that the studio hopes will re-team Sandra Bullockand Ryan Reynolds. Neither has a deal and the latter’s availability is questionable because the studio is looking to move quickly.

Another strong package for Paramount Pictures; yesterday Deadline
broke that the studio won an auction for Cleopatra, an epic-sized film with Wonder Woman‘s Gal Gadot, director Patty Jenkins and producer Charles Roven, with script by Laeta Kalogridis.

The Nee brothers are known for their 2015 movie Band of Robbers, as well as for directing He-Man and the Masters of the Universe for Netflix.

Uh... Are we living in an alternate reality where He-Man happened already?  How can they be "known" for something that hasn't happened yet??  🤣

Trailer looks fun but hopefully almost all the jokes aren't in it. Brad Pitt was definitely going to be a surprise cameo pre-Covid but now they need him to make this theatrical worthy so to say

I guess this looks fine, but the Brad Pitt scene feels like it would have been way funnier and cooler if it wasn't revealed in the marketing.

THE LOST CITY IS NO LONGER “OF D” 🤯

This title will bother me. #1 because "The Lost City" is just so generic of a title. And #2 because now I can't make any dick jokes. 😔
