Sounds like 80's % to me with 7.0 average or so 

 

Beyond Maverick, this year hasn't been that good for blockbusters regard to reviews. DS2 was medium, JW was a disaster, Lightyear seems only decent. Fingers crossed for Thor and Nope to change that.

This is going to make more money than any of Onward/Soul/Luca/Turning Red ever were (even if their theatrical runs hadn't been ruined by unforeseen global circumstances and a desire to provide content for their streaming service) on account of being an extension of one of the brand's most iconic franchises even with a "lesser Pixar" critical reception. Now we just need to hope Elemental doesn't mark a return to the Disney+ exclusives lol.

I think if Soul and Turning Red went theatrical in a pandemic less environment, both would’ve outgrossed Lightyear. Both had stronger reviews and it seems more and more likely Lightyear may be softer than expected.
