Heh! I actually just got to see Blade Runner theatrically yesterday (the final cut), so everything in Ford’s bit was fresh in my head.

That Mank cinematography win was surprising but it was an ugly film. A Sound of Metal win is always good to see. The best of the BP nominees imo.

Mank taking cinematography is by far the biggest surprise of the night, and it signal nomadland BP win isn't really that locked.

Wait...wasn't the whole point of having the Song nominees perform in the pre-show was so they wouldn't play it at the ceremony and cut time? What is with this show's structure?

How is this show going to go beyond 3 hours? Nothing about it makes sense.
