This movie is a sacrificial lamb to the gods Deadpool and Wolverine on that weekend. Can't think of any other reason for this movie to even exist. 🤣

At least a movie like IF had that all star voice cast to motivate adults to take their kids.

Watch it dominate Deadpool and Wolverine.  Miracles and witchcraft happen.

I haven't seen but he had premiere 3 days ago . Why you make a premiere during D&W Week and the day after this premiere ( and day of embargo).

Eh, movies have their premieres well in advance of release date all the time. Despicable Me 4 for instance had its premiere on June 9 in NYC, over three weeks before it opened. Usually it's a matter of talent availability.

Columbia learned from Shazam 2.  They banned him from promoting the film knowing he would hinder it instead.

On a serious note would you want him promoting your stuff without a script?  All his recent activity say that is the last thing you should want unless negative publicity tied into the election and big pharmacy (the stuff your entire target audience either does not know about or wants escapism from) is part of your master plan.

He is an example of how some celebrities need at least 2 twitter accounts.  One where they can talk about non-entertainment things like issues they are passionate about, and another for entertainment purposes where they can promote their work.

This movie is doomed. Absolutely no sane studio would release their movie during the 2nd weekend of D&W.

I can see reasons for niches, and I think they had a clear plan.

Parents nostalgic for X-Men go to see Deadpool 3 and leave their kids to watch Harold.

There was the premiere last week but otherwise not much. Considering this was filmed in early '22 for a January '23 release it ended up missing by 1.5 years, it's reasonable to assume everyone involved has mostly moved on.
