I do believe it will hit it, HBOMAX is it's only hinderance. pretty much a perfect storm otherwise. It might not even need to for the sequel, WB will learn their lesson and Dune 2 will be theatrical only make $$$.

exactly. Dune Pt 2 will do great in theaters.

I’m expecting Dune to make 105-110 million$ domestic. I think it’s a good result considering HBO Max.

If it does it'll be the highest grossing WB release this year, at least until Matrix hits. That's not nothing.

It honestly seems unlikely with Eternals coming out a couple weeks later.

Well, I think it will cater to a different audience once the initial buzz is done. Mostly people who like award season. That’s what I think, I may be deadly wrong.

If it opens as well as some of the theater reports suggest it will, it's a guarantee it'll cross 100mil domestic.

It’ll be well out of theaters by the time it starts to pick up awards buzz though.
