I guess 30M for the 3-Day could still happen with these numbers. I don't know if that constitutes a breakout per se, but far from the end of the world.

Disney doing major expansions over the long weekend:

Why did they bury Dog's reviews by giving it the shitty horror movie embargo drop? Channing Tatum one of the few draws left, plus America loves dogs AND soldiers. If they promoted it as a big crowdpleaser it could have done 12+ easy.

The movie was dumped as a whole tbh. Hardly ever saw any TV spots for it.

MGM is a mess. they have too much on their plate. Need to balance the awards campaigns of Gucci and Licorice Pizza. They also have Cyrano STILL somehow which is finally being dumped next weekend. And this was after months of Respect and No Time To Die

Cyrano's frustrating me because my mom really wants to see it, but she has no clue when it's actually coming out because of how awful and weird the release strategy is. She thought she missed it, because of the trailers at the movies saying "This December", but I have to keep telling her that it will come out eventually. I thought it was January, but instead it's coming late February with zero fanfare, getting overshadowed by all the awards contenders. I don't know if it's money troubles or issues with the Amazon merger or what, but there's definitely something funky going on over there (though granted those are sadly common woes for all the mid-tier studios)

Just for clarification, does your numbers including pre-Thursday screenings or strictly Thursday?

The former. They're likely to roll in the IMAX screenings/AMC Investor stuff, so might as well add up everything together.
