It won't but I'm saying that without Father's Day it very likely could have done. E.g. $9m with a 6x IM for a $54m OW versus $9m with a 7x IM for $63m OW.

Not that we're expecting much, but Ruby Gillman tickets just went on sale. Fairly clear that Indy is monopolizing the larger screens that weekend.

Single screened on midsize screens at both my locals...theaters are not looking to overbook right now on that weekend with so many June holdovers that might be performing around...if Ruby is gonna do anything more than $20M OW, it's gonna have to presale something to get more screens or rely just on its legs...

I am seeing 30100 this morning from 432 theatres and ATP just under 18.88. So ticket sales are right. Not sure about ATP but its tiny difference.

NY (AMC Fresh Meadows 7): 64 (4 showtimes)
Miami (AMC Sunset Place 24): 50 (0 showtimes)
Grand Rapids (AMC Grand Rapids 18): 6 (7 showtimes)
Austin (AMC Lakeline 9): 8 (3 showtimes)
Tempe/Phoenix (AMC Centerpoint 11): 13 (6 showtimes)
San Francisco (AMC Metreon 16): 96 (11 showtimes)
LA (AMC Universal): 80 (10 showtimes)

Total tickets sold in 7 theaters: 317.

Comps (all counted on Monday of the release week for Friday): Minions 2 (107M OW) had 907 sold tickets,
Sonic 2 (72.1M) had 791 sold tickets,
Dolittle (21.8M) had 143,
Clifford (16.6M) had 75,
Strange World (12.2M) had 72 (in 5 theaters)

and JC (35M) had 357 sold tickets.

So some comps (of bigger films and part of a series) point at the moment to ca. 35M OW. The comps with smaller films look way better but those films had pretty good jumps in the next few days which Elemental would need too to maintain the current margin

Didn't they say the Flash's budget with reshoots and everything was close to 300 M? There's no chance in hell this movie breaks even with that budget.

It's a cameo-filled fan servicey CBM in Summer. The IM shouldn't be expected to be more than 6.5x
