Contrary to early reports (at least from what I recall), looks like the Walmart+ "See it first" showings for MI7 are exclusive to Walmart+ members.

I say "looks like" because not only is Atom the only place showing these tickets being available locally, if I go to the various corp sites, they don't have their showtimes listed on their dates (even though Cinemark at least does indeed have it as a coming attraction).

Also not entirely sure tickets are even live at the moment (not having a Walmart+ account I can't check) as I check a few places locally there isn't a single ticket sold.  Makes me think that it's possible that the sale won't go through even with a Walmart+ account.  Either that or folks locally have no idea whatsoever that this is a thing at the moment.

(more I think about it, the more I think Atom just accidentally left a partial switch on and the sale would be rejected eventually)

Are they PLF showings or just regular showtimes?

Regular standard format.  Again at least locally.

Tickets were made available publicly a few days ago, but it seems that was done by accident.

Is this the first time Walmart+ has done something like this, seems odd

Not the same thing as it pre-dates Walmart+, but there was exclusive Walmart screenings for Man of Steel way back in the day.  But recently?  Since the Walmart+ program launched?  Not sure since I ain't a member.  Not that I recall but then again I don't tend to remember the fine details of the films I don't personally track.

So from what I've seen in the last few pages the updated range is 8-10 Thursday previews and 48-70 weekend 😐

It would seem those ranges represent the most likely scenario but it’s ok to hold out hope that WOM is good enough to drive walkups :)

Too early to project. We dont have too many comps this far out. i did not track Fast X this early. I think this will be ahead of that as well. One negative is small show count. Let us how that goes close to release. but I am confident it will have a good OW. Pace is quite good this far out.

Variety says tracking is still looking like $70M, with some industry analysts claiming it really well could climb to $85M.

No matter which way you spin it, opening to under $100M is disappointing. Opening to under $90M is just BAD. Ezra’s time is almost up. No way Gunn keeps them after this. He is so obviously going to cast a whole new crew of actors for the Justice League.

Wonder how Asteroid City will do, the few numbers here seems solid to me, won’t be surprised with the best PTA of the year in this weekend limited release

Even The French Dispatch ended up doing fine in a very bad environment, I suppose this can be big (for this type of movie ofc)
