Hmm, going with that if it has the same jumps as the other $150M+ December openers from Eve to Christmas we'd be looking at...

TFA = $36.9M

R1 = $34.6M

TROS = $32.5M
TLJ = $31.9M

Since Christmas Day is on Saturday unlike the other $150M+ openers I think the jump will be higher.

TFA was Friday, Fri/Th is about as good as Sat/Fri in winter break. It should beat the rest but O/U 37 seems reasonable.

Charlie is calling for $90-95M for the weekend. To get that off of a $20M Friday we’re gonna need at least $36M tomorrow.

Any way Sunday sees an increase over Saturday? I think a 10 percent bump is within the realms of possibility. Best case scenario of 20-38-42 puts it at even 100.

Its possible since Monday will still be a day off for a lot of people but it’s extremely unlikely. The better hope is a flat or single digit drop Sunday.

Only took titles that were making above 10m on day of 25th at least because if gross is too low, the jump were very high.

Titanic (1998) - 157%

Any Given Sunday (1999) - 157%

Sherlock Holmes - 147%

Mission Impossible - 119%

Hobbit - 118%

Jumanji 1 -111%

Avatar - 107%

Aquaman - 103%

Night At Museum -100%

King Kong - 94%

Jumanji 2 - 86%

Sing  - 82%

TFA - 80%

Rogue One -69%

TROS -59%

LOTR (2001) - 58%

LOTR (2002) - 59%

Special Mention:

Little Fockers (2010) fell 30% on Christmas Eve and Jumped 197% on 25th and it's Prequel Meet The Fockers (2004) dropped 42% on Chrismas Eve and jumped 173% on 25th.

But what make 'em EXTRA Special?

Christmas Eve was Friday and 25th was Saturday for both  of those films and it is same for NWH.

That jump from TLJ on Christmas Day is when the first real alarm bells started to ring for the movie and subsequent franchise.

Doesn’t seem too concerning to me tbh, Mon should have the weakest Xmas bump of the 7 possible calendars.
