Like what I'm seeing. I wonder if we will ever get an Alien film like Aliens again?

Aliens was a lightning in a bottle amazing sequel along with Terminator 2 and Empire Strikes Back. Just be glad for decent sequels.

No, they blew every chance they had, now it's too late, at this point it's like asking Jurassic sequel as good as Jurassic Park.

I'm disappointed. I expected way more new ideas, more thrill, more emotion. This looks like a mix from other films of the series. Yes, I'm really disappointed and so far I was pretty optimistic.

We already went that route with Prometheus and Covenant. I liked them, but they were polarizing.

Looks as exciting as Terminator: Dark Fate.

Then you are more than welcome to go elsewhere.

Yeah it does feels like throwback and back to basics, but after 2 polarizing entries, every studio would sell a back to basics movie. Doesn’t necessarily means the actual movie is just a safe 2 hour run.

Anyway, the trailer is very well put together. Seems well shot too, i would like a more splashier lightning but at least it doesn’t looks like shit.

Trailer engagement seems quite big for a genre movie with great reception online, hopefully it can try 35-40M OW

Yeah between this and It Ends with Us, this August could end up being the best we've seen for that month since before covid. Certainly deeper - it's been an empty month of late.

It really looks like the back half (July, August) could carry this year's summer movie season after a dreadful May and an empty June.
