We usually don't get the actuals. But BOM lists the overseas total as $1,195,465,447. The estimate we got was $1,191,300,000.

I think it still has an outside shot at another 100mil international weekend.

New Years skews that list up a bit with it coming in higher than Xmas weekend. Compare the 4th none holiday weekend to Xmas, 2 weeks earlier, and that shows it has a chance at another 100mil. Probably 80-90 in reality, but it still has a chance imo.

So based off that Sunday estimate increase, I am thinking this for the week.

 

Monday: $4.66M

Tuesday: $6.85M

Wednesday: $4.73M

Thursday: $4.64M

End of Week: ~538.5M

 

Weekend: $34M-$35M (Three day) and then $42M-$43M (Four day) So it would land somewhere in $575-585 within a week.

That's an excellent number. Early on I remember people here thought it might top out around $150M. Strong legs to tack on another $80M from there. That's 50% more than expected.

I always enjoy seeing how these early estimates translate into actuals. It reminds me we're in a golden age of box office and tracking where we can now have a better idea of numbers early on in a weekend thanks to these awesome posters and theater seat tracking.
