When will the NFL Games have the biggest impact? Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday?

Starting from Saturday evening shows (4:30pm onward)...

But, the biggest game (by far) is Monday night, so thankfully, for the movies, that shouldn't be much of an overall impact.

If Brady vs Dallas was today, that would have been ugly for the weekend...

Looks like it truly is simply running out of steam. Oh well, it has had a fantastic run up until now, and a $650M finish is still nothing to scoff at.

Holidays ending+Demand being burned off=Legs slowing down. It's the way it is. Seeing how before last weekend we weren't even sure if it'd 100% cross 600, this is a big win for it I'd say.

To be honest, if Puss increases or is flat this weekend, we need to stop talking about if 150m+ is possible and if Universal will fudge it 200m+.

Very good chance it gets to 130m at the end of January, will be around 170m-175m by February if it continues to have TGS or Sing 2 like holds and could cross high 180s by end of March

The century mark is finally happening this weekend for Puss. The time for Shrek 5 has finally come, especially if the creative team behind this one is involved. Very nice number for Megan as well. It was finally released in my crib yesterday and it's truly an incredible start to the year. Hopefully it drops below 60% which is basically the ultimate threshold to go below for horror movies.

If the creative team behind this one does Shrek 5, I'll buy tickets for the Fri, Sat, and Sun viewing, reviews unseen.

In total on Sunday, but with the holiday we'll still see good drops from Sat. Sat increases will be a bit muted

By percentage effect, Monday, no question

Puss fucks alright...

Fri - 3.03M

Sat - 5.77M (+90%)

Sun - 4.6M (~13.4M)

Mon - 3.3M

Gone fairly conservative here. Even flat or a small increase wouldn't be out of question. More importantly, it kept up with Jumanji: WTTJ, which should give us a baseline for the future of this run.

The director is doing KUNG FU PANDA IV first. Will Dreamworks give him SHREK V as well?
