Fran Drescher is a spineless coward

I'm of two minds about this.

I don't like the idea of AI as a justification for game studios hiring less actors, but also, I know that AI isn't going away and if SAG doesn't make some kind of deal with game studios regarding AI, these studios will just go completely around SAG and still go full steam ahead with AI. At least now, SAG actors see some money rather than getting completely shut out.

It's likely true that voice actors have little bargaining power in videogames.

Unfortunately, character voices are considered a minor aspect in videogames, so game studios wouldn't care so much about quality. It wouldn't be weird most game studios will replace actors with AI if SAG really opposed.

I don't recall SAG ever taking the position that they were completely opposed to AI voice use, just that they wanted actors paid better for it.

They were never anti-AI. The internet has framed the SAG strikes as being over AI, but they were always about better pay. AI was a part of that conversation, but again, it was to get actors fairly compensated for the use of AI.
