With theaters giving it more screens and shows after Exorcist backing off + 26M in presales on AMC alone i just can’t see this doing much lower than 100M OW atp

Likely over tbh, waiting the sales from today, but it doesn’t looks like it’s running out of steam

For anyone who was initially worried about capacity issues, that definitely won’t be a problem. As an example, AMC Orange 30 now has 57 (!) showtimes for Saturday, October 14th. Capacity won’t be an issue. The theatres are not going to leave any money on the table.

Just read even the Meg Ryan directed movie Is moving from 13th october.

I can understand they probably think the eras tour Is very female driven as a rom com should be too but It was the perfect kind of counter programming for adult women. Why everyone is running away? 😅

@Inceptionzq I know you normally dont do it, but anyway can you account for ATP anamoly as ticket prices are fixed here. I doubt drafthouse or emagine will normallyl have this high ATP.

Edited in. Also, I changed the comps for Saturday and Sunday. I was comping TS Sat and Sun to other Sats and Suns like normal, but I think comping TS Saturday to Fridays and TS Sunday to Saturdays will be better.

Oh and I didn't track ATP for No Way Home, so I just used the same one as Multiverse of Madness

$37M from just the big three should make it the 3rd biggest 24 hours ever, behind Endgame and NWH.

Its biggest ever with $50M. I estimated Endgame at $45M but Deadline saying higher.

Though, those were mostly for  weekend, here sales beyond weekend are huge as well.

I am still stunned that the even we did not even know exist 48 hrs ago is the biggest pre-sales event of the year already !!! Great thing is its not from a big studio.

T-Swizzle hype has no equals. I'm curious how big presales can get before OD. I know Endgame has the current presales record but what's a rough top 5? @across the Jat verse

I am actually excited to follow the box office again. This tour movie is so interesting to follow for so many reasons. Every time i check back in this thread i’m surprised by how well it’s doing

And I just know Taylor and her team are watching how successful this is becoming and will work to make sure they find a way to build on it to sell even more tickets. That’s what she always does.
