Why on earth would you expect a 250% Friday increase for it? That almost never happens for any movie on any day. This is by far the best single day increase its had. Edited by MovieMan89

Too bad urban movies like TLAM do so poorly overseas. I wonder what the highest grossing predominantly black movie overseas is.

That's exactly what happened in 2007. So, yeah I thought THG could follow Disturbia and increase 300% on Friday.Friday numbers for holdovers are pitifully weak.

Because THG's holds grew progressively stronger every weekend. And the fact that the spring breaks are over should result in films fading at a slower rate. :)
