Sometimes movies are nominated due to a lack of animated movies to select from.

The Croods were also nominated that year.

Crap like Ralph Breaks the Internet was nominated in 2018..lol

Ralph Breaks the Internet has better reviews than literally every single Illumination movie.

Ralph Breaks the Internet is BAD. I don't say that based on anything like continuity-wise with the first one, but it's a consumerist bunch of bullshit.

I found this video that ranks all nominees for Best Animated Feature so far, and it said that Ralph Breaks the Internet is only second from the bottom, and I can't say I object.

It is still better than the Boss Baby.

No. Boss Baby is at least an actual film. Ralph 2 is a soulless brand jerkoff poorly imitating The Lego Movie which did a much better job showcasing the IP might of its movie studio.

The Emoji Movie was a BOP! Don't be doing too much...had Christina Aguilera make a cute ass cameo, it was a cute flick.

"Bop" is really the word that separates Millennials and GenZ.

In light of Horizon's performance I took a look at Costner's other directorial works, and i didn't realize he only directed three movies prior to Horizon. For some reason I thought he did more.

Waterworld and Prince of Thieves were directed by Kevin Reynolds. They were a collaborative team on many of Costner's leading man projects until they had a falling out on Waterworld.

I remember reading about that. I'm pretty sure Costner even took over Waterworld in the edit.

DM4 should do 300M or so from current markets.

DM3 did 417M in these remaining markets. Even with expected drops, it could bring +300M for DM4.

600M OS seems like a good target. And +900M WW, great

China will drop 2/3rd looking at how Minions 2 did over there. So I would separate China and the rest taking Minions 2 as the baseline to come up with gross for DM4.
