This is a five part SOTM. By now you know the drill. You can go for one, several, all or none.

1) Will TDKR make more than 30 mill at midnight?

2) Will TDKR make more than 74 mill OD?

3) Will TDKR make more than 81 mill OD?

4) Will TDKR make more than DH2 OW?

5) Will TDKR make more than 190.5 mill OW?

Each part you go for is worth 8000 if correct.

Each part you go for and guess incorrectly will cost you 5000 points.

If you choose to abstain from all five questions, you will receive 8000 points.

If you choose to answer all five questions, you must be correct on all five questions. There is no bonus for getting all five correct as you get 40,000, which is the biggest SOTM amount ever given out. However if you get even one wrong, you will lose 20,000 points. The only way you can lose more is if you go for all five and answer all five incorrectly, that would cost you 25,000 points.

+8k points for each question correct. makes sense.

-5k points for each question incorrect. makes sense.

+8k points for abstaining all 5 questions. makes no sense.

You said we can answer one, several, or all. So what if a person decides to answer 3 of them, and abstain from 2 of them? Will that person get points for the 2 questions that he/she choose to abstain from?

+40k points for answering all 5 correct. makes sense (8k x 5=40k).

-20k points for getting one wrong. makes no sense.

If we get one wrong, we lose -5k, why would we lose -20k for getting one wrong? Is because we're going for all 5, and if we miss one, we lose -20k? That's kind of unfair, isn't it?

So a person can answer 4 out of 5, and abstain from one of them (get points?), and from those 4, he/she gets 3 right, which is 24k points, and since he/she missed one, that's minus -5k, so that player gets 19k points (unless it's more from abstaining from one of them?

But if a person goes for 5 out of 5, and gets 4 right, which is 32k points, but since that player misses one, he/she gets only 12k points?

What if you answer 5 out of 5, and get 3 right, which is 24k points, but since you miss 2 of them, that's -40k points, so you lose -16k points?

Somethings not right with the point system, and I think you should reconsider it, or explain it a bit more clearly.

The point system makes perfect sense Infamous. If you go for all five, you have to get all five right. If you get even 1 wrong, you forfeit all correct answers and lose 20,000 points. Don't know how to make it any more clear than that.

I'm confused as to what is confusing. If you go for all five questions, YOU MUST GET ALL FIVE RIGHT. If you do not, you lose 20,000 points. How is that not clear? No one is forcing you to go for all five. You can go for four. If you get 1 wrong going for four, you still get 19,000 points. If you choose to abstain from all five, you get 8000 points. Am I missing something? Is this not clear enough?
