The Dark Knights intro wasnt any better. I dont even remember the deathly hallows 2 opening so it cant of been that good.I dont know why im only comparing to the two best OW films, lolThe best intro hands down to any film iv seen belongs to Serenity, which was also done by Joss Whedon. Really was a perfect intro.

I don't like the microwave emitter either. I've never said the movie is perfect. It's a 8.5/10 for me, which is better than everything else in the genre. But the first hour of it is miles better than any other live action superhero movie for me. I felt connected to Bruce's journey in a way I've never felt about any other character in a superhero movie. To me, Nolan lost his way with TDK in this regard because he allowed the villain to steal the show just like every other Batman flick before Begins. My hope with TDKR is he gets back to focusing on the title character.

Well, I respect your opinion of course. But I have a heck of a time finding any faults with TDK, no matter what is said about it. My favorite complaint is that it has too many endings. That's my favorite thing about it. The tension is so high from the middle of the second act on, it's like a roller coaster ride for your mind. Same way I feel about Inception.

What the first 10 minutes sucked, thats when

Loki attacks the base and the base implodes. HOW DID THAT SUCK?

Typical action sequence to me, plus the Skeletor-type guy and Loki just don't interest me. I prefer my superheroes and villains to be humans from this planet. The fact that the movie starts off with a bunch of shit in outer space is an immediate way to get me checking my watch. Having said that, I did enjoy Hiddleston's acting in this movie even though the Thor/Loki story itself is not my cup of tea. What saved this movie is RDJ, Hulk, Ruffalo, Evans, and Whedon's dialogue/humor.

The Dark Knight had a fantastic and thrilling opening. Deathly Hallows Part 2's opening was hauntingly beautiful.

I don't think TDK's Prologue is the greatest thing ever, but it's miles better than the first 10 minutes of the Avengers. At least it doesn't have

Skeletor and Loki jabbering about this and that in outer space. Yawn.

Now talking crazy, no chance in this era that happen.

There were a lot of things, that were not supposed to happen in this era, and guess what? Avengers just did them.

I don't really care about the opening. It's the middle that's a slog.

That's where I started to lose a bit of interest, but just as my mind would start to wander there would be something that would happen to pull me right back in.
