Community Manager Water Bottle Posted June 13, 2013 Community Manager Share Posted June 13, 2013 (edited) Conclusion, really dumb plot + worst actors you could find = worst show ever. I've had my issues with Revolution. My tv blog will attest to that. But it's FAR, FAR, FAR from the worst show ever. Hell, it's far from the worst show currently on the air or on broadcast television. Edited June 13, 2013 by Water Bottle of Steel
Michael Gary Scott
I gave up on this but it's far from the worst show ever.
4815162342
The finale's final moments were very good. Though I think the entire arc of the final third of the season was rushed and should have been the overarching subject of the second season instead. Goffe
Maybe what I said was premature, but I still consider amazingly bad
4815162342
The Season 2 premiere was pretty good. I would not have been shocked at all if the show had actually killed Aaron off for good rather than pulling the cliffhanger revive at the episode end. This show already has a talent for trolling the audience with killing off main and moderate characters at the most sudden of times (icing Ben's girlfriend like 4 episodes in, killing Danny the episode after he was rescued, etc). DeeCee
I started to watch the new season and as the "previously" part played I realised I hadn't actually watched the last 3 episodes. I was deeply saddened only 1 Friend survived.
CJohn
So I read ratings are in the shit. I was planning to start seeing this. Not sure now... it is likely getting canceled, right?

Community Manager Water Bottle Posted October 23, 2013 Community Manager Share Posted October 23, 2013 I ain't starting to see Revolution now then. Thanks. Why? Ben and Kate is a brilliant comedy that I fell in love with but it got canceled. I don't regret going on that journey.
DeeCee
I have to agree with WB. For one of these genre shows it actually has an underlying premise that makes sense. Plus you get a bad ass Giancarlo Esposito. Just try pretend the 2 kids don't exist. Edited October 23, 2013 by DeeCee
JJ-8
This was a show I really got into... i know a lot of people didn't really watch this much... but so disappointed it's been cancelled. To make matters worse... the ending .. well it's a setup for Season 3 Which unless it got picked up elsewhere or NBC change their minds (unlikely), we will never know where it's heading. disappointed NBC! although this show got a little strange through the middle of season 2, i stuck with it and i must say the final third has been much better... but it's all too late oh well. 4815162342
I think the show made two major mistakes in its plotting. Mistake #1- Rushing into the Patriot Arc for Season 2 (IMO the Season 1 finale should have been the Season 2 finale. They should have done a slower play of the medallions, power restoration, and Randall ulterior motive revelations). Mistake #2- The entire sentient nanobot plotline of Season 2. It basically made it two entirely different shows awkwardly merged together. But that's what happens when you give a heavily serialized show a 22-episode season, it either puts in a lot of filler or it bites off more than it can chew.
