JackO
I don't think TDKR has a shot. From Gold Derby: Cinematographer Wally Pfister won an Oscar for "Inception" and has three other nominations ("Batman Begins," "The Dark Knight," and "The Prestige"). He has a great shot. Impact
While Incpetion did have great cinematography, I still think True Grit should of won that.

My prize for being right? Absolutely nothing.

Kvikk Lunsj
This is Walley film.If any blockbuster going to be nominated it be TDKR but I do not think it will happen. Too many other movies with good cinematography.

CloneWars
I am also in the camp that TDKR won't get nominated. TDK was the film that really pushed IMAX cinematography.

He has a great shot. And TDKR's academy reception begs to differ. Plus, it's too crowded this year for it to make it in.

The Stingray
Can someone please explain this to me. This is what it says about Prometheus on IMDb: Cinematographic process Digital Intermediate (2K) (master format) Redcode RAW (5K) (dual-strip 3-D) (source format) Does this mean that the footage I saw when I watched Prometheus in the cinemas was 5K? I didn't even know cinema projectors could project that high a resolution. And compared to the IMAX footage in The Dark Knight Rises, which is the highest resolution? Thx for any elaboration.
