I had just read the book for the first time, this was earlier this year I think. I was looking forward to the hedge scenes. Nothing. The sound of the lady in room 217 approaching the door (while Danny was in the hallway). Nothing. Those were just two of the missed opportunities. As the movie ended, I was shocked by how much hype it had gotten. I was disappointed.
