KathNiel
Wonder Woman already breached 2M admissions in July 12. But it's still the lowest-grossing among DCEU. #WonderWoman atteint les 2 millions d'entrées au #BoxOffice France ! 12e film à passer ce cap en 2017. Aristis
12.07. - 16.07. DM3 already in the yearly TOP10 after the second weekend. Looks like it should be able to top Raid Dingue. MrPink
Saw this article, sounds like it's off to a fairly solid start but I don't have a whole lot of context to French box office: http://variety.com/2017/digital/box-office/international-dunkirk-france-1202500426/

It's below Inception (5,253) and Interstellar (3,524). ____ DM3 passed 3M admissions, DM2 had ~2.5M at same point. bruchav
4 hours ago, John Marston said: so slightly lower than Interstellar. Not bad. Dunkirk OD are higher then Interstellar. France launched to an impressive $1.1M with 143K admissions on 668 screens, which outperformed the opening day gross for Nolan’s 2014 sci-fi pic Interstellar by a big 68%. It was also on par with the results from Clint Eastwood’s American Sniper. http://deadline.com/2017/07/dunkirk-international-box-office-grosses-1202132130/

Dunkirk OW is probably going to be inferior to Interstellar one, which is, consedering the marketing in France + DUNKIRK = dissapointing. KathNiel
Quote The film first opened in French-speaking countries, taking in a big $2.2M in its first day in France. And France continues to play well. And finally, France brought in another $734K for the day with 100k admissions on 668 screens, ranking No. 1 and bringing the cume to $2.6M. http://deadline.com/2017/07/dunkirk-international-box-office-grosses-1202132130/ Edited July 22, 2017 by KathNiel
marveldcfox
Any idea how Besson's movie will fare in France. They should have delayed the US release to 1st or 2nd week of August. Hype should have transferred from Europe to here. Now only negativity is spreading like wild fire all around the world. China could have saved this movie if it was releasing within a week or two. By the time it releases there, it will be too late.
