I feel there should be a couple of very WOW performances in smaller markets. For bigger EUropean ones isnt Italy's in the same ballpark as france's ?

Would say no in that it has no shot at becoming the highest grossing film here in Italy compared to France, but also Italy's market has just shrunk so much over the years in comparison. This feels like trending for 40-45M tops, the only film to even get close to 40 since Avatar was TLK at 37.

 

If it pops off and gets to the 50s, would say yeah probably similar ballpark given markets, don't expect it to though. Even then, I would say it's a very strong performance here, in Spain, and Germany, as well as many small european markets and a few small SEA markets.

Do you think 10M, SW7 (10,5M) or even 11M admissions are locked at this point ? btw, I don't know if you know but the holidays don't end on Sunday (1st January) but on Monday (2nd January) this year so it's 1 more day of holidays (so much the better for A2).

 

I saw that Rogue One which had the same schedule had dropped by 25% this 3rd week, hopefully the same for AtWoW and therefore a 3rd week around 2M admits and 7,75M by Tuesday. A2 should surpass TGM (6,688M admissions) this Saturday and will become the biggest movie of 2022 at the French box office in 3 days ...

Id say 10.5M is locked and 11M is like 70% likely.

3rd week i think can be 2.5M+. That would mean 8.2M 3 weeks.

 

11M from there should be pretty easy. Good shot at 13M.

Wow so A2 could have the 3rd biggest 3rd week of all time ... and if it surpass 10M and SW7 in January, that would be awesome.
