Garçon Chiffon : 705 (16) Envole-moi sold 20 054 admissions on its full OD. Those numbers are really great, even though they might be inflated by cinephiles rushing to theaters after months of closure. Adieu Les Cons had more or less the same Paris 2pm when it was first released in October and went on to sell 600k+ admissions that week. Demon Slayer is 3.5x Broly (310k + 90k previews OW) at the same point, although Broly was weak in Paris and stronger in Périphérie, which is not counted here. Not exact trend for France, but Broly Paris was 13,517 5,005 (-63%) 7,798 (+56%) 19,475 (+150%) 21,371 (+10%) Wonder if Thursday drop will be softer due to capacity restriction on day one or Saturday and Sunday can go that high. I am also thinking of 225k-250k admissions in 5 days and with a holiday Monday surely 300k-325k admissions in the first week. Broly had x1.9 legs without the big previews. I think Demon Slayer will be no exception to the rule of animated films like this and not have big legs. Probably a final result between 450k ($3.4M) and 650k ($4.9M) admissions. I wonder how much Rex contributed ( @LPLC can you check the sales in Grand Rex) ATP in Rex was EUR11.5 ($13.75). Probably 520K admits for $5M. LPLC Posted May 20, 2021 Share Posted May 20, 2021 (edited) For ATP, I think it should be around 8$-9$, a bit more than Broly but it won't go over 10$, seats at $13.75 are only in Paris in the biggest more expensive cinemas like the Grand Rex. but in the provinces places are much cheaper. $5M would then represent roughly 550k-600k admissions.
