abra
296 302 admissions France for Tomorrow Land in five days a good result or not?
Renaud originel
Neither good or bad. frankly he can expect 1 million tickets max. At best a place in the top 45 annual . In France, as in other countries , the public did'nt understand the film's subject . There are, however good reviews, Bird has a good reputation but apparently that is not enough.

I don't know, 1.5mil or whatever for SA don't seem that much from a big disaster movie. Not a flop but a bit disappointing. MM4's number otoh is really nice
TalismanRing
Renaud thanks for the updates and I really like all the older box office info on your site, especially the breakdown of actors and directors. Surprising, though it shouldn't be to see movies like Ben Hur and 10 Commandments with about 14 million admissions - - even with re-releases that's impressive. IndustriousAngel
Just saw that Maya (the movie with the bee) still is in release in France and has nearly 1mil admissions - wow, that's 25% higher than the result from the home market (below 800k)! juni78ukr
If I'm not mistaken that looks like the worst weekend in France in admissions in 20 years.
Renaud originel
Absolutely. The weather is between good and very good and french movies are very weak... We hope Jurassic World to a great start. Logicaly we hope 300 000 admissions for his first day. It will be a very good star during this bad period. Every Jurassic Park start at least 45 000 admissions in Paris All the stats about Jurassic Park are here : http://www.boxofficestory.com/jurassic-park-c26753976

Poseidon
Paris was on school holidays when Avengers 2 opened, so I think that's a very healthy opening for JW. And who would expect "out of this world"? Looks to open comfortably above 1m admissions, that's great.
JennaJ
Some people just want to rain on the parade. Thank you for putting the numbers in context! Happy to hear it's off to a great start!
Poseidon
Comparing it to Fast 7 and 50 shades of grey, it should have an OD north of 300k and it might cross 1.75m admissions in its first 7 days. But it's way too early, we'll see.
