The Marvels has Park Seo-Joon who is a popular korean actor so I assume SK will be its best market, relatively to its size atleast. Post-Covid, Korean theatrical market simply shrink, domestic or Hollywood alike. In between 2017-2019 there were 4-7 local film hitting 5m admission but until now we have two. Nearly two years after the reopening, Korean only has three 10m movie but there were five in 2019 alone. The only genre growing is Japanese anime. (due to huge incel wave in S.korea) and lack of promo/buzz due to SAG strike made it worse. park seo joon who is huge name here also wont't participate in promotion to support SAG strike.
