I love this genre. Don't kill it.

I am not the one killing it lol. I am probably gonna see this. But lets face it, this is another Jupiter Ascending in the making.

Weird looking original sci-fi movie. That is why I think that.

So you are also thinking a similar box office run? I mean "weird" sci-fi movies can't make good money now? The genre has had a lot of misfires lately.

I am thinking it does less than JA. But we are 1 year and a half away. Too soon to discuss this.

Be grateful that such movies are getting made.

And, BTW, Jupiter was revolutionary in its visuals (again, after The Matrix). Best looking movie of 2015 - after Max and maybe SF7. But no one saw it to acknowledge it. Jupiter should have snatched the visual Oscar, not the TV looking ExMachina.

It's not original.

Yeah, I think you have to separate IPs that are known to GA and those that aren't.

Ghost in the Shell and the average Joe & Jane ?

Nope.

Same for Valerian.

Man I am looking forward to this.

Man this isn't going to deliver the box office it might need.  For Bessons sake, best case?  It does Fifth Element Dom/Fgn ratio.

I fucking love the Fifth Element.

Besson's deals have been revealed for this.

He s good.

Have you seen Nikita, the original french one ?

His best movie imo.

But yeah Fifth Element was great, unique, spectacular & fun as hell.
