hegemony
Eventually one of these will be the "Raimi's Spider-Man or Singer's X-Men" of video game adaptations and the floodgates will open. I wonder how many studios have tried for the Call of Duty or Grand Theft Auto rights.
Neo
If TFA really breaks out, like say make $600M+, this might move even though it is facing off against a SW spin-off. Also, how well MI5 holds up against VII will play a role in deciding whether to keep this date. As far as Avatar 2, I thought it was a given that it would not come out this year. To film all 3 films would probably take at least 9 months or more. They still have a lot of pre-production work and then post would probably take another 6 to 12 months per movie. No way was it coming out this year. SH did fine against Avatar.

The Futurist
How does this project attract A list talent? Big money is still in the blockbusters. Actors like money like most human beings. Most blockbusters feature a list talents. Nothing new under the sun. Fassbender ain't gonna buy his Ferrari with the money from his Steve McQueen's trilogy. 4815162342
How does this project attract A list talent? Probably cause of the Kurzel relationship. I'm cautiously intrigued. Would be funny if Troy Baker had a role somewhere. The new Nolan North and all.
