Blankments
March 1-3: Wolves Rolls to the Biggest Opening of the Year! March 8-10: Audiences DO Like Green Eggs and Ham, Projectionists, Not So Much! March 15-17: Prodigy Surprises With HUGE Opening! (yeah, I couldn't come with a pun) March 22-24: Agent McCoy, Sam and Max Can't Stop the Prodigy! March 29-31: Divergent Disappoints, But Still Wins Big!
riczhang
I meant game-wiseAh. I haven't gone through those records. What did Con Air 2 open to?
Blankments
I was surprised by Divergent honestly. I thought that was on track to definitely beat Prodigy for biggest opening of the month, since Divergent seemed to have more mainstream appeal to me. riczhang
Wonder if we can get a 100K PTA for a limited film....
Impact
Perhaps.I accidently once had a limited film have a PTA of 600K. I didn't realize till a long time after that. (I might of had the TC wrong is my best guess or it probably was a extra 0 added to its OW)
4815162342
Impact I'm in the middle of watching a movie so if you're itching to do April then go ahead.Otherwise I'll get April - August predictions up when I'm done with the film, which is The Grey aka Liam Neeson vs. Wolves, a very fitting film for the time of day where Liam Neeson vs. Nazi Warships gets a great OW.

The Dark Alfred
I was hoping Projectionist to open above 30m, but there isn't much competition for it, so it should have nice late legs. Really strong March as expected.
Impact
Just realized I put the wrong number for Green Eggs and Ham on the last week of March. I'll put in the correct number.
Impact
April 5-7 "Water" is number 1 it looks like. The film had a nice 34.1 million. Making this the 7th week in a row with a 30M debut. While "Zombies" did decently at number 3 with 19.1 million. 1. Wall of Water: 34,087,079 (1st week) 2. Divergent: 26,178,071 (2nd week) (-53.4%) 3. Beware of Zombies!: 19,104,597 (1st week) 4. Prodigy: 11,815,652 (4th week) 5. Agent McCoy: 11,211,105 (3rd week) 6. Sam and Max: 7,331,099 (3rd week) 7. Barco de Oro: 7,195,765 (4th week-wider) 8. Green Eggs and Ham: 5,504,655 (5th week) 9. Wolves: 4,412,154 (6th week) 10. 51: 4,001,311 (1st week-limited) 11. Projectionist: 2,855,121 (5th week) April 12-14: "Tornado" has just became the first disapointment of the year. It debuted to a measly 13.2 million. To make things worse it got a C+ on Cinescore. It was not helping that there were some major tornados in the midwest either. While Hansel and Gretal had a decent debut at number one with 28 million. This was the first weekend since President's day weekend where no movie made over 30 million. Though this is still a great weekend. 1. The Untold Story of Hansel and Gretel: 28,017,609 (1st week) 2. Wall of Water: 14,697,198 (2nd week) (-56.9%) 3. Divergent: 14,414,133 (3rd week) 4. Tornado: 13,218,194 (1st week) 5. Beware of Zombies: 8,177,754 (2nd week) (-57.2%) 6. Prodigy: 5,997,164 (5th week) 7. Agent McCoy: 5,802,402 (4th week) 8. 51: 5,699,708 (2nd week-still limited) 9. Barco de Oro: 5,011,014 (5th week) 10. Sam and Max: 4,017,708 (4th week) 11. Green Eggs and Ham: 3,101,149 (6th week) 12. Wolves: 2,641,133 (7th week) April 19-21: "The Man and His Hat" went to number one. It had a decent 27.9 million opening weekend. While "Jungles" had a awesome opening for a doc with 14.2 million. Yet another above average weekend this Spring. "Hansel and Gretal" dropped a decent amount, while "Tornado" flew off the planet. "51" performed okay going wide. It plans to expand a couple more times. 1. The Man and his Hat: 27,897,674 (1st week) 2. Hansel and Gretel: 15,011,046 (2nd week) (-46.4%) 3. Jungles: 14,186,509 (1st week) 4. 51: 11,897,096 (3rd week-wide) 5. Divergent: 8,001,105 (4th week) 6. Wall of Water: 7,611,568 (3rd week) 7. Tornado: 4,443,188 (2nd week) (-66.4%) 8. Zombies: 3,998,088 (3rd week) 9. Prodigy: 3,532,131 (6th week) 10. Barco de Oro: 3,501,058 (6th week) 11. Agent McCoy: 3,430,147 (5th week) April 26-28: Summer started a little early this year. Despite some saying it couldn't do it, "Vault Break" did very well with 44.1 million at number one. "Stacy's Mom" must of not had it going on though with 7.3 million. Thanks to a massive theater increase, 51 increased a little. 1. Vault Break: 44,127,002 (1st week) 2. Man and his Hat: 14,990,086 (2nd week) (-46.3%) 3. 51: 12,010,064 (4th week-wider) 4. Hansel and Gretel: 8,407,980 (3rd week) 5. Jungles: 8,211,631 (2nd week) (-42.1%) 6. Stacy's Mom Has Got it Going On: 7,291,003 (1st week 7. Divergent: 5,618,307 (5th week) 8. Wall of Water: 4,311,742 (4th week) 9. Barco de Oro: 2,422,765 (7th week) 10. Prodigy: 2,100,378 (7th week)
The Dark Alfred
I was hoping for either Projectionist or Hat reach 100m. Both will end up with a decent total, though. I want May already lol
Impact
Well I am trying to avoid having too many 100M films sorry. Still they both did well.

riczhang
I'm surprised Jungles opened that high, it's roughly the same opening Chimpanzee had this year.
