Fake
300m overseas now looks unlikely300m is gone now. Best it can hope for is 280m so that it reaches 500m WW (unless China goes crazy).
Halba
yep 500m WW is the upper limit. quite average WW run for this.. i think serves the studio right for serving out crappy content bring on '13s real films - iron man 3, man of steel, fast 6, star trek II, catching fire... TLK
They may be developing a sequel for Alice but unless Depp is on board, it won't even make half of the original.

iceroll
How would they even do a sequel? The movie included Through the Looking Glass as well... there would be no source material and I can't really see a movie based off an original story doing that well... there couldn't be a more blatant cash grab. A Marvel Fanboy
So its second biggest opening market. Yeah, just half of what it opened in Russia ...
POLYLOVE
If a movie's largest overseas market is not China, then it's a flop there.
John Marston
so about 20 something million from China? An OK number but it looks like now 500m is toast

Tower
I would not call it an OK number. In line with the rest of the OS market, which is not particularly big.
wileECoyote
Damn disappointing in China as well. I have to admit its OS numbers are OK, at best, but nowhere close to what I wanted to see.

PatrickvD
I think lack of big names was the movie's main problem. Alice was absolute crap but it had Johnny Depp .... IN 3D!!!!
John Marston
Int'l - $214M, WW - $412M
