With Minions possibly making $1 billion at the box-office, 2015 is shaping up to truly be an impressive and absolute monstrous increase from 2014 year!

 

01. Fast and Furious 7, $1.5 B

02. Avengers: Age of Ultron, $1.3+ B

03. Star Wars: The Force Awakens, $1.2 - 1.3 B

04. Jurassic World, $1.1 - 1.2 B

05. Spectre, $1 B

06. Minions, $1 B

07. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - PART 2, $900 M - 1 B 

08. Inside Out, $850 - 900 M (I'm hoping that if it truly is a masterpiece then it gets to $1

 

That's 8 possible $1 B films with two animated movies having an outside chance which is awesome!  If this does happen, it will mark the first time in history in which two animated films have passes the $1 B thresh-hold and yes, it will an interesting Oscar battle between Inside Out and Minions.

I know, the guy who came up with that deserves a raise. The amount of awareness this gets for the movie is ridiculous, especially since everyone orders something on Amazon regularly.

IMO that's the best marketing idea for any movie so far this century. Do you people know how big Amazon is? I mean with colleges alone, Amazon is gold for us college kids. I just shipped back last semesters text books, and I have a to go back on Amazon and order another book in the next few days. So I'll probably be getting that box.

 

The purpose of marketing is raising awareness. You're literally putting these characters in everyones house that uses Amazon by doing this. And its not like putting characters on a Doritos bag. Amazon boxes are something you tend to keep, at least for a while. Brilliant marketing from Universal. Jesus they've been on a roll lately. I have to work for them. I have to.

 

Grim just posted a couple examples. I searched "Minions amazon" in twitter and theres already a log of tweets from people either saying they got the box or want it. This is straight genius. Whoever thought of this deserves a raise and whoever thought of Minions deserves his own private island at this point.  He's making Uni billions.
