Not sure if it's accurate, but a finance mutual follows this account.

That tweet has 42 likes, it’s from an account no one has ever heard off, they have the sad fake Verified sticker, and WB have been attempting to do anything they could would this franchise for years- JK shoots them down immediately. You could say WB want to reboot or make more Potter at anytime in the last 10 years and you wouldn’t technically be wrong.

No reboot, please. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Just start with what the established universe already has.

Don't blame you lol. This thread is pretty much the DC thread, not the WB thread.

I mean...Warner Bros. is a dumpster fire right now anyway, right?  The DC debacle is just the most consistently entertaining of the whole mess...  😁  Indeed I wouldn't be surprised if Zaslav himself encouraged Gunn to interact on Twitter to take shareholders' focus away from the dirty dealings elsewhere...

Rebooting Harry Potter? No way! Build on what's already there.

Imagine if Disney rebooted Star Wars lol.

It is way too soon to refilm the novels. to begin with.

Well, they tried one expansion of the Potterverse and it did not turn out very well.

A reboot of HP is not unlikely at all and will happen one day. The Fantastic Beasts series is dead, the follow up to the HP, Cursed  Child, was widely panned, and the original cast probably don’t Want to work with Rowling anymore due to her views. A reboot with new actors will probably happen sooner than people think

I can’t imagine that people will be willing to sit through a story they’ve already seen before, which spans eight films that are based on seven books, retold with new actors. That’s like remaking the original Star Wars trilogy, but even more tedious.

I mean they don’t have to. They are set for life. If they don’t want to work with JKR anymore than that’s that

Of course they don’t have to. The problem is that bringing them back would be infinitely more commercially viable than pushing the reset button and bringing in  new actors as these characters, so you can retell the same stories that people have already seen.
