Even if there is a 'Potter movie', it's not going to be the Cursed Child, because Rowling doesn't want it. She said so in 2017, but it's unlikely she has changed her mind, especially after some of the actors denounced her.

Fans of the books would be very resisntents; there is just no room for a sequel the way Tokien wrote the books.

I guess they could go back and figure out a way to film The Scouring Of The Shire, if they can forget Saruamn being killed in the extended version.....

The only way that would happen is if Rowling decided to sell it, and not only does that seem unlikely, but there’s no way they’d be able to afford it.

AT&T screwed WB by saddling it with all the debt from Leveraged buyout it did last decade. They still have 49.5B in debt and it was 53B 2 quarters ago. At this rate it will take a decade to pay off the debt !!!
