Variety and Hollywood Reporter both comment on it being too long. Didn’t realise until now that it’s 2 hours and 44 minutes. 

 

Glad to see that they both said that people who haven’t seen the original will enjoy this one more than those who have.

The chances for this one are increasing a lot, especially with the floppage of Last Flag Flying. It's on the verge of BP and Screenplay in addition to all those techs IMO

It's looking to open in the same range as those movies though so coming close to $150M doesn't seem like too big of a stretch.
