Even as a joke its stretching too far. I dont think DH2 record might ever be broken as we stopped having midnights. I am sure Avengers 2 will break this record next year. So no comparison.

If market is expanding at a furious pace and number of screens/imax is also growing rapidly, breaking record is a given. 

 

That being said I will not call it unimpressive. Just that it was expected.
