How do these TDKR/TASM pre-sales compare to pre-sales for other huge movies like Titanic, Transformers 3...etc?Those pre-sales figures for TDKR and TASM seem quite low for a huge country like China.

It's not completely tracked. And it's very early,still 4 days to go.Titanic had 1.2 million pre-sale tickets by a few hours before midnights. Edited by Olive

We didnot really track Tiantic3D and TF3 at this point. But obviously both TDKR and TASM are not pre-selling crazy likely TF3, T3D, but on par with TA I would say. This Friday/Sturday/Sunday should be the key booking days however.

That is solid for both films. I am assuming average showing will have 200 seats. So around 85K Tickets possible for TDKR and TASM can sell around 90K tickets. But why is TASM having more midnights when TDKR is selling more tickets.

3D screens brings in more money?

pre-sales update（mostly are midnights）

TDKR 501 showings 30896 tickets

TASM 502 showings 28673 tickets

next update will be 10 hours after this post.

TASM is picking up..

Thanks guys for the comparison. Hope the pre-sales pick up a lot to match anticipation levels which are high apparently! Guess we just wait for OD now!

Prometheus has been pushed back. The new release date is September 15th (to be confirmed).

Please be real...... please be real......If that happens, 100m for both TDKR and TASM will be in play (yet still very difficult).
