So he can open his schedule for Star Wars.

Dear god no.Also, bom has $71.2m OD and nothing for Thursday so looks like we won't get a breakdown...lumping 10pm into OD/OW will definitely be the new trend. And Summit def seems to care as a $110-115m ow headline would have looked much worse (assuming $25m or so was from 10pm previews). Edited by FTF

7.5k PTA for Silver Linings Playbook, should do about 20-25k for the weekend.

That`s horrible. It`s playing in only 16 theaters and PTA should have been in 5 digits. Totally stupid to open it against biggest female audience draw since Titanic.

Good hold for Bond and good for Twilight. People are nitpicking the finale factor. Not sure what that would mean when the fandom is set in its numbers. Not sure why the finale would attract more people. But anyway, good for Lincoln too.But the biggest is Bond didn't fall off and is right at 40m ish. Pretty much ends up where most predict.

Don't understand that SLP average. This has been expected to break out for months, and with a mainstream audience. So you'd think with all the rave reviews that the specialist locations getting this weekend would be sell-outs?Strange. Early days yet but I thought that was going to be a big weekend in 16 theaters for it, instead of what's looking like a merely ok one. Personally I can't wait to see it. Opens in the UK on Wednesday. As for Breaking Dawn, it's doing fine. All the fuss over it dong under $65 million and lo and behold it comes in like the other movies. Never saw it expanding on the gross of the last one particularly. Those who turned up opening day last year have turned up again. Job done. Lincoln. Much better than I expected. Oscar chances increase dramatically if its a big hit.

I worked a midnight overtime shift so i had no idea what it made unil now. But i turned on my phone this morning and i had 4 idiootic texts from Noctis saying it will do 125 mill OW. Now its up to a 71 mill OD and people still say its disappointing? See you all Monday sometime.

You are a biased clown, see ya later. It was never going to do less than BD1 so to match that isn't "great" as you put it, record or not, it's expected and will again have horrific legs.
