19th SAG Awards (Winners in 1st Post) Skyfall wins Stunt Ensemble

I would be happy with an Argo/Spielberg split.

Embarrassing for Spileberg becasue he`d clearly win by default. If he had any dignity left in him (which I doubt after Clinton) he wouldn`t wish for such win. But I guess all he cares are records.

Well, at least we won't have a single movie sweeping all awards, I guess.

Argo: BP, Editing

Lincoln: Director, Actor, S. Actor, Screenplay

Les Mis: S. Actress,

ZDT/SLP: Actress

Django: Screenplay maybe??

I'd like to see that

No movie since 1952 has won BP and just 1 other Oscar ;)

Spielberg isn`t locked because there`s no passion for awarding him again. Not even Crone clamors for it. Her concern is BP. Plus, considering that all the hype is on DDL shoulders, Linc is seen as his show, not as Spielberg`s.

I agree. I think BD will go to whoever wins at the BAFTAs.

Screenplay won't happen for Django.

The thing going against Argo again is not only is there no directing nom-it is next to impossible to win without a directing and a acting win which only Crash has done since Chariots of Fire. And if it loses screenplay no chance at all.

I honestly think that this could play out like this:

Picture: Argo

Director: Haneke, Amour (If he wins BAFTA which I think he will)

Actor: DDL, Lincoln

Actress: Riva, Amour (Again hinges on BAFTA)

SActor: Jones, Lincoln

SActress: Hathaway, Les Miserables

OScreenplay: Haneke, Amour (They'll want to reward it somewhere in addition to Foreign Language. They loved the film too much to only give it only Foreign Language)

AScreenplay: Terrio, Argo or Kushner, Lincoln. Flip a Coin

Yah and lets not forget that Crash is probably the ultimate question mark in Oscar history.

And Driving Miss Daisy is the only time a movie has really won BP without a BD nom (the other 2 times are irrelevant since they happened so early in the Oscar's history). It would truly be bizarre if Argo wins BP. Not saying it's impossible now, but just would be a huge anomaly in oscar history.
