That is not a complete list Sun's Son. There's no way they leave out Arianne.

They're aging up Trystane because Myrcella is older than Tommen and Tommen has been aged up to about 14-15. The actress who played Myrcella is now 16.

Fair enough

But I do think Quentin is toast and a flashback scene seems weird

I doubt they're cutting Quentyn. If they want to keep the same dramatic tension as in Book 4 they would keep his casting on the down-low to not give non-readers much heads-up.

Also, speculation on Westeros.org is that we won't get a flashback scene, but something contemporary with Cersei instead.

Also, not all characters are cast via casting calls like that. D&D in some cases deliberately target a few candidates instead of going for an open field.

Of course if the Old Gods, New Gods, Drowned God, Red God, Storm God, and God of Many Faces are all just, we will get the trifecta of fan casting dreams for Season 5:

James Purefoy

Ray Stevenson

Kevin McKidd

as

Euron Greyjoy

Victarion Greyjoy

Jon Connington respectively

Odds of happening: 0.001%

I know it would be incredibly weird to have Dorne but cut Arianne and there's a good chance the character isn't mentioned because an actress is already cast, but there's no Arys Oakheart either. That is one less Arianne subplot so it's troubling for her chances to be included.Quentyn I could see conveniently being cut. Just have Trystane's character play his role as well and nobody would miss him, like Willas and Garlan.

They're not cutting him.

There's no way you can have Trystane fulfill Quentyn's role while simultaneously acting as Myrcella's betrothed. They don't have any Greyjoys, JonCon, Aegon, Haldon, Duck, Septa Lemore, Val, Wyman Manderly, etc on that list either

It's a partial casting call list is all. What's more intriguing is who is on it and what they're looking for in those people rather than who isn't mentioned.
